Can I negotiate on used gears at Guitar Center?
I heard that Guitar Center don’t haggle anymore, but I was thinking about buying some used DJ gears at Guitar Center, and I was wondering if I can negotiate with them to get a better price? If they’ll negotiate with me, how much is the starting point to negotiate? 20%, 30% off what the price they are selling?
If you don’t ask, you won’t get. Ask whatever you think is acceptable, but do some research first. Look for the same items elsewhere, many shops will negotiate to a price that is equal to that offered by competitors. Also offer to pay cash.
